Our soils and construction-materials laboratories are staffed and equipped to test soil, rock, asphalt, and concrete. Data provided assists engineers during project design and helps determine specification conformance during project construction. Certified technicians perform laboratory testing for a wide variety of government, commercial, and industrial clients and in support of our own engineering projects. Our laboratories are validated to perform materials testing for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Shannon & Wilson's labs in Anchorage, Denver, Fairbanks, Portland, Seattle, and St. Louis are accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO).
