SR 520 Floating Bridge and Landings Project
Our GIS experts analyze and interpret geospatial data and integrate Global Positioning System (GPS) data into GIS for a wide variety of environmental and geotechnical projects. Presenting the results clearly with maps and other graphics, we effectively use light detection and ranging (LIDAR) to integrate topographic data with geotechnical investigations for more accurate site characterizations. Using LIDAR data in potential landslide areas helps Shannon & Wilson provide accurate modeling of scalable contour intervals and geomorphic mapping of recent and historical activity, helping our clients appropriately mitigate landslide risk. Our field staff uses mobile GIS technology to collect and modify data in the field, and we use the most current version of ESRI® ArcGIS software available to provide our clients with results on which they can rely.
