Geology Staff


Brian is a geology staff member experienced in planning and executing subsurface investigations for design of infrastructure projects. His experience includes managing and logging subsurface explorations with all types of drilling methods; installing, sampling, and performing hydrogeologic testing of monitoring wells, performing geologic field reconnaissance and developing geologic hazard reports, completing geotechnical lab testing, and overseeing construction activities.

Brian has considerable experience with groundwater characterization and analysis, having completed slug testing and aquifer pumping tests (including design and oversight of installation of pumping wells) for many projects throughout the Colorado region. This experience includes well development, groundwater sampling and interpretation of geochemical testing, and interpretation of hydrogeologic testing (slug and aquifer pumping tests) to support aquifer characterization and dewatering design.

Brian is also experienced in operation of heavy equipment, including geotechnical drilling rigs, and has provided emergency response efforts for landslide and rockfall events affecting railroad facilities.
