In his 39 years as a State Geotechnical Engineer with Idaho Transportation Department, Tri’s vast geotechnical engineering experience has encompassed preparing and reviewing foundation investigation reports; designing correction schemes for landslides, retaining walls, bridge and building foundations; developing pile driving criteria and participating in pile load tests; planning and monitoring geotechnical instrumentations; conducting research studies relating to geotechnical engineering; and supervising soil and soil mechanic laboratories. Tri has prepared and reviewed numerous foundation investigation reports for bridges, retaining walls, landslides to support projects that serve a wide variety of federal, state and municipal clients during his last 5 years with the firm.
