Frederick Kuhnow has more than 25 years of multidisciplinary experience with a focus in heavy/civil engineering, geo-structural engineering, soil mechanics, rock mechanics, seismic analysis and design, hydropower dams, tailings dams, water dams and reservoirs, surface, and underground structures. His project experience includes detailed engineering design of earthen structures, seismic/structural design, geotechnical characterization (surface and underground), slope stability investigations, seismically induced liquefaction mitigation systems design, reinforced concrete structures design, geohazard evaluations, deep foundations, ground control, tunneling and underground construction. Frederick has published several technical journals and has peer-reviewed articles for industry professional societies and is fluent in Spanish.
