Hannah Allyson Ramos recently graduated with her MS in geotechnical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2024 and a BS in civil engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2023. She is deeply fascinated by the intersection of the natural and built environment and the idea of solving complex problems that influence the safety and resilience of public infrastructure while considering natural earth forces. While she has previous experience working in the field and conducting soil testing and geotechnical analysis in a laboratory setting,
Hannah seeks to expand her engineering knowledge and develop her technical skills by performing work in the field at project sites. Throughout her career, she hopes to gradually contribute technical expertise and engineering solutions to address existing and growing challenges involving seismic, soil stability, groundwater, and subsurface and surficial soil and rock conditions across a variety of sectors.
