Cecilia Burke

Cecilia is a geotechnical engineer who joined Shannon & Wilson after completing her Master’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley. She has experience working in a variety of civil engineering market sectors, including rail, transit, mining, commercial, wastewater, and water supply. Her technical background includes slope stability analysis, deep foundation design, earth retaining system design, and geotechnical report preparation. She has performed construction monitoring and geotechnical inspection for driven pile foundations, drilled shafts, diaphragm walls, and soil nail walls. Cecilia also has considerable experience completing the components of a geotechnical exploration program, including soil and rock logging and classification, managing exploration data, producing boring logs and geologic profiles, and determining soil parameters for design.
