Philip has more than 10 years of geotechnical experience with a project portfolio that includes infrastructure developments in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Throughout the duration of his career, he has worked on offshore geotechnical engineering; seismic soil-structure interaction, probabilistic seismic hazard analysis and soil liquefaction; numerical modeling, including ABAQUS, FLAC, VBA, and ArcGIS; interpretation of laboratory and field test results, cone penetration tests, unsaturated soil, and centrifuge modeling.
Philip has experience working on geotechnical engineering projects involving field exploration, laboratory testing, engineering analyses, report preparation and construction observation and testing. He has worked with private and public agencies and has developed geotechnical recommendations for flexible/rigid/permeable pavement sections, subgrade mitigation, foundations, retaining walls, underground utilities/structures, and slope stabilization. His project services include public agency roadways, bridges, private and public buildings, water facilities and underground structures.
