Jordan Melby, PE
Senior Engineer
Jordan Melby joined Shannon & Wilson in 2022, bringing nearly a decade of experience in geotechnical consulting in the Pacific Northwest. Jordan’s background includes leading and coordinating geotechnical subsurface investigations, performing and monitoring field tests, conducting geotechnical engineering analysis, and managing QA/QC programs during construction. He has been involved in numerous projects that include bridges, pipelines, liquefaction mitigation systems, levees, and roadways. Jordan specializes in foundation design, seismic analysis, and retaining wall and shoring design and has in-depth experience with dynamic testing of piles and evaluation of pile integrity. He finds enjoyment in working on unique and complex projects.
