As a staff geologist and laboratory testing technician, Connor's experience includes coordinating subsurface explorations, observing geotechnical drilling, and logging for numerous infrastructural projects involving asphalt rehabilitation, retaining walls, pipelines, and structural foundations. He also utilizes ArcGIS Pro to create mapped overlays and visual references for numerous project areas in Colorado. When he works as a lab technician, Connor carries out multiple soil and rock tests including soil index testing, one-dimensional swells, corrosivity (ph, resistivity, sulfates, chlorides), compaction (Proctor test), and unconfined compressive strength, employing ASTM, AASHTO, and CDOT specification standards and methods.
