Alexandra McCracken
Geology Staff
Alex is a geology staff member within Shannon & Wilson's Denver office. Alex has assisted in various geotechnical engineering projects. Her field experience includes coordinating subsurface explorations, geologic field reconnaissance, drilling and logging of geotechnical borings/coring, and the excavation and logging of test pits. Alex also has experience with hydrogeological field investigations (aquifer pumping tests), analysis, and dewatering design. She has also completed analyses to evaluate slope stability of large landslides, foundation and retaining wall design, and is adept with use of GIS to generate mapping and perform analysis of geographical data sets including change detection of digital terrain models collected with LiDAR methods.
