Alexander Baird

Alexander is a professional civil engineer with more than nine years of environmental remediation and geotechnical experience. His technical experience includes waterfront and onshore projects related to geotechnical investigation, design, and project implementation. He has worked on construction and rehabilitation of several projects sites involving excavation and retaining systems, water system projects, environmental investigations, fish passage structure replacement, and has experience working with various clients. Alexander has assumed project roles ranging from managing site investigations, performing technical analyses, developing design recommendations, performing cost analyses, bid procurement and evaluation, and development of project drawings, specifications, and workplans. His geotechnical experience includes slope stability analysis, foundation design, excavation seepage analysis, design of soil stabilizing and retaining structures, design of in-situ solidification/stabilization remedies, and design of permeable reactive barriers and hydraulic cut-off walls.
