Over the past eight years, Joe Sawdey has worked as a consulting geologist predominately within the environmental sector with a broad-spectrum of responsibilities. In this work he has performed environmental assessments, guided by state regulatory mandates, for industrial and governmental clients. He has also performed numerical, analytical, and statistical evaluations of hydrogeologic and environmental data sets, such as development of conceptual site models, mass flux estimates, concentration trend analyses, plume stability assessments, spatial and temporal groundwater monitoring optimization, aquifer (slug, pumping, injection, and tracer) test design and analysis, fate and transport analysis.
