Elliott's experience focuses on pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and other water-/wastewater-related public infrastructure. Recently, he has been the geotechnical project manager for Shannon & Wilson on complex projects involving site-specific seismic studies, liquefaction analysis and modeling, seismic hazard mitigation, slope stability analysis and mitigation, buried structure foundation, and retaining system design and construction.
Elliott recently served as project manager on several large pipeline projects where major concerns were seismic vulnerability, constructability, and risk management related to route selection and geotechnical design. Elliott's expertise also includes specialty deep foundation design and construction services using the Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) and CAPWAP to compute foundation capacity. In addition, he has in-depth experience using Cross-Hole Sonic Logging (CSL) in drilled shafts and Pile Integrity Testing (PIT).
