Since joining Shannon & Wilson in 1984, Mike has been involved in a wide variety of geotechnical engineering projects. His technical experience includes field explorations, interpretation of subsurface conditions, slope stability analyses, design recommendations, report preparation, plans and specifications, and construction monitoring for tunnels, bridges, building foundations, retaining walls, and sewer pipelines.
Mike has also been extensively involved in the design, installation, and monitoring of instrumentation and has developed computer software designed to reduce and analyze data for projects including tunnels, deep excavations, and various bracing systems.
