City of Mukilteo and Shannon & Wilson Celebrate Harbour Reach Corridor Grand Opening 

Shannon & Wilson team members helped celebrate the grand opening of the Harbour Reach Boulevard Project this past weekend.

Completed for the City of Mukilteo, Shannon & Wilson's staff provided geotechnical engineering, hydraulic engineering, environmental permitting, and wetland services for the project, which provides ¾ mile of new and improved roadway connecting Harbour Pointe Boulevard SW and Beverly Park Road.

The project includes one northbound and one southbound lane, buffered bicycle lanes, sidewalks, landscaping, and a roundabout.  Structural earth walls up to 35 feet tall cross two ravines.  A 13-foot and 26-foot wide metal arch culverts sized for fish and wildlife passage convey two streams under the new road segments.

The project was funded through Connecting Washington, the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board, and City transportation impact fees. .
