Geological Engineering Staff


Kyle is part of Shannon & Wilson’s geological engineering staff and has experience working on a wide range of geological and geotechnical projects including mapping bedrock/surficial geology and geologic hazards, soil nail walls, slope dewatering with horizontal drains, and slope stability related to the maintenance and improvement of roads and highways.

Kyle's field experience involves coordinating subsurface investigations including excavation and logging of test pits, drilling and logging of geotechnical borings/coring, installation of inclinometers and vibrating wire piezometers, assisting in geophysical investigations, and construction observation including rock bolting within tunnels, rock slope scaling, cut slope excavation and grading, and drilled shafts for bridge foundations. Kyle also has experience writing recommendation reports for both private landowners and public entities and conducting a diversity of laboratory tests.
