Geologist


In his 40+ years working in various geological environments, Bill has played many key roles in exploration, design and construction projects involving mineral exploration, bridges, embankments, retaining walls, landslides, roadways, and construction monitoring.  Bill has over 30 years’ experience with the Idaho Transportation Department as a District Geologist.  His field experience includes coordinating and supervising subsurface explorations, performing and monitoring field tests, installing and reading instrumentation, performing construction inspection, and monitoring construction activities.  Bill specializes in highway structure foundation investigations, construction instrumentation and monitoring, blasting oversight, materials source investigations, and helping his clients understand the role geology plays in the development of their projects.
